It's been one fun journey to see the grandparents in Hong Kong and after 24 hours of door-to-door travel, we are finally home. On the way over to HK, we didnt' have much jetlag but since being home, the boys sleep during daytime and wake up 4 in the morning and refuse to go back to sleep. Our house is a chaos unpacking everything. However on the travel back here's what happened.

We have flown with United and then with Cathay Pacific; there is no comparison. The quality of service and the things to keep the kids/adults busy for long flights (15+ hours) are just incredible. They have individual LCD TVs, much like JetBlue, but bigger with more movies, more music, they even have interactive children's games(a plus). As you can see here both kids are deeply involved with the interactive games.

The flight attendants are just phenomenal! They are the best! The first thing they told Abbey was that if she needs anything, they will get it for her even when she told them that Da was with her and throughout the whole flight, they would give toys, stickers, snacks, drinks and anything the kids want or need to keep them happy. Here Sonia lended her Chipmunk sleeping bag to let Clayton hold and play with.

We flew on a fairly new 737 plane with 3 rows-seats on the sides and middle. Since the flight was only 30% full, we took 9 seats YES 9 seats: It was nice for the price of 3 seats. So Clayton slept in his own row, Brennan slept in his own row and Abbey and Da would switch off. It was nice.
Here Clayton can't help himself but to flirt with all the flight attendants when he was awake in the serving areas. It seems to me that the flight attendants here genuinely love to play with babies; they are almost like babysitters!! They are the best so far! So if you any of you are flying international, Cathay Pacific is highly recommended. Thank you Charlotte and Sonia to name a few excellent crew!
