Day Six: As we were driving back to the Palmyra area to start our sightseeing. We saw a sign saying "Pick you own sweet cherry for $2.00/lb We quickly stopped for 15 mins and got our sweet cherry picking experience.
Our first stop: Book of Mormon Historic Publication Site
The kids learned about how the Book of Mormon was first published. Joseph Smith was rejected the first time but God told him to go back and ask again. The printer decided it was too big of a job to pass, he accepted the job. Martin Harris sold part of his farm to pay for it. $3000 dollars for 5000 copies. Each book of Mormon would cost two month wages back in 1830s.

The binding was the only part done by women since it involved sewing.
After the tour, we went to Uncle Robert's RV for lunch and the kids had so much fun.
After lunch, we visited the Palmyra Temple.
Little but beautiful temple.

We then walked to the Smith Farm and Sacred Grove.
Mama didn't like the Sun and she used the umbrella.

After taking another break at the RV watching movie and steak dinner (the food was gone before we remembered to take pictures), we went back to Hill Cumorah to watch Saturday performance. Before that, Da took more pictures with the cast.
We even found the Prophet!!!
