This year we continue to have our traditional annual breakfast for the kids on the first day of school. The difference is that we're missing CC, since he left for BYU a week earlier. The kids once again enjoyed the nice breakfast before heading to the bus and/or school.

Since we do not let our kids sleep in the basement, because the basement is cooler to sleep in the summer, SS have to move all this stuff back into his room. And with CC gone to college, we helped him cleaned up his room so he has space to put in CC's computer to use and clean up his closet. He was hesitant but after it was done, he was pleasantly surprised and said, "I have so much space in my room"

After many years of telling CC to make his bed at home, the first thing he does when he arrives at the Heritage Dorm at BYU, he makes his bed. We, as parents, were pleasantly and happily surprised. Also for his week of class, he need many things including a bike. Da went on social media listings and found him a bike near his campus. He went to meet the the sellers and bought the bike he liked. CC is also attending and participating many/all the activities/functions at BYU including devotional, dorm games,  singing/caroling, and seems to making many new friends. Seems like he's having a blast!

SS had a great year in high school co-ed volleyball. When it ended, he started playing with the adults on Wednesday nights from 9pm until 11:30PM since he didn't have school. These are pick up games. He has actually been to Wednesday night vball a couple years ago but he was very intimated by the sheer size of some of the adults and how hard to they spiked. But after on a couple years training from CCACC and school volleyball, he improved significantly and felt comfortable he can play with the adults. He also brought Kellen Christiansen from the Kentlands youth and Emma Evans from the Seneca Youth to play Wednesday nights. They had a really great time and enjoyed the Wednesday night volleyball games in the Summer. Since school started with Seminary, they  probably won't play until Holidays or schools over again.

Also FF took some vball clinics over the Summer and she liked it, so mom signed her up for some more classes during the Fall.

The kids like volleyball so much, when we went to UK, we played volleyball with the local church youth in Colchester
