2020 Christmas gathering

So this year, instead of inviting all family and relatives, we only invited Da's sister's family along with Nancy, Tony, and Arnold to have Christmas dinner with us. It was small but very nice.

2020 Christmas Day - opening presents

This year FF really was ahead of the game! She is soooo thoughtful that she knew what she wanted to buy for everyone in the house in mid November! and then have them all wrapped up already in her room. Then when we put up the tree after Thanksgiving, that very night she put the presents under the tree when the rest of the family still haven't thought of what to get yet. However the kids managed to buy very thoughtful presents for each other.

2020 Zhao Family Newsletter

Our annual family newsletter for 2020. This year there are many differences too. In previous years, on Christmas eve Da would take the family and drive around town to certain older member's homes and everyone would sing caroling to them. Since we aren't able to do that, we decided to have the kids perform musical pieces with the missionaries and would send it out to members to watch. The members still enjoyed it.

Even though a lot of changes happened, we are still blessed to have wonderful neighbors. This is the second year we've been invited to Jennifer Michael's home for Christmas eve dinner. It is sooo wonderful!
