So we are officially no longer young parents; we are teenage parents. This not-so-little girl turned 13 today. And Cayleigh celebrated her birthday with a bang! In fact her birthday was celebrated three times! Since FF is no longer a baby and our youngest, mom wants to make a very special birthday cake for her. Mom spent many hours to go online, find a really good recipe to make FF cake from scratch. She even grounded up fresh strawberries to make the crème filling for the 6" layered cake. She spent a lot of time following as closely as she can from the online recipe and method, however it was not perfect. That was for our family celebration for FF.

Read below for part 2 and 3.

Part 2

Then FF planned her own birthday party. She planned and invited friends weeks ahead to schedule them waaay ahead of time due to Covid and making sure all parents will allow their daughter to go ice skating with FF. Below is her scheduled event on her birthday for which all her friends she invited showed up.

The day before FF birthday party, mom attempted a second time to make perfect from the first birthday cake. She even make a bigger cake for more people. So after ice skating, we ate at Corner Bakery. Then afterwards we came home and celebrated FF birthday one more time! This time with all the friends she invited and cousins.

Part 3

Since we are in hybrid between two stake boundaries, FF's young women group in our local area also celebrated her bday party at church with the young women! They had a blast! And surely FF thoroughly enjoyed her 13th day celebration. One to remember for sure!
