As the school year is wrapping up, Abbey's been super busy donig a lot of parent volunteering. She's been helping to make the back splash for SS's class chorus. She got some of the idea from our recent church reunion party and made the following banner and props for the background. CC and FF helped a lot too! They made it look really nice!
Afterward, mom treated them to Rita's Italian Ice for all the great work!
Below, you see that Mr. C just learned how to iron clothes. Actually it's because he is going to his induction for the National Junior Honor Society ceremony. At the last minute, he found a pair of khaki pants tuck in the corner of his drawer, so it was extrememly wrinkly. So it was time to teach him how to iron. So now he knows how to iron.
As part of doing hard work and keeping the grades, mom got him a gift for it. He was really suprised to see that mom actually bought him a Nintendo 3DS purple edition that he's been wanting for many months.
FF's class had Author's Tea where each child has been working on writing a story book of their own for many months. Then they would read it to their parents of the story.
