2016-02 Chinese New Year Celebration at church

This year Clayton and Cayleigh were party of the New Year Celebration program. Clayton played two pieces with other musicians: Jasmine Flower and Songs and Smiles. And still by far, he is the smallest kid there.

FF had a couple practice rehearsals before the real performance.

While Da's mom is waiting for the show to being, CC goes around with the ladies.

2016-02 Chinese New Year

For our family, Abbey teaches the kids how to make some of the yummy dishes for our own New Year's even dinner.

Then we would to go to my parents house for family New Year's dinner. Unfortunately I forgot my camera and tripod, so I had to make a ghetto setup using a broomstick and duct tape. (Mind you that I was super scared since my phone was already dropped once and shattered in pieces) But the family photo is a must.

After a whole week of visiting family and relatives, the kids each got well over $200 of red pockets!!! (Actually for some reason, Clayton received $40 more than the rest of them)

Things around the house and cubscouts derby race

While its really cold outside we get to have the kids do fun stuff at home.

FF got rollerblades for her birthday and she would ride it everyday when she can. And since its cold outside, she'll go back and forth at home, until she's tired out and she would sleep in them.

The cubscouts Pinewood Derby race and then also the popcorn reward to SkyZone bounce house for selling a lot of popcorn.

Someone gave us a broken remote helicopter and SS was determined to get it working...in the end he learned a lot but didn't get it working as he wanted.
