So these activities doesn't really belong to anything else either but fun to post them. We're about two weeks into school and still trying to squeeze the last bits of summer in with no school days and weekends.
Mom bought this hair capture thing. It was suppose to be for me to use to help capture hair when cutting the boys hair. I find it unnecessary.
One day FF decided she want to hang her socks this way..kind of unique
The one day that I took FF to her piano class. Her piano teacher's house is behind her on the right.
I was careless and ran the van into the side curb that ate a 3" hole from the side wall of the tire that we just bought six months ago while mom was buy groceries. So I used it as an learning opportunity for CC. Taught him how to change a spare. Not sure how much he learned from but but now at least he knows...something. And thanks to Costco membership, they replaced, installed, and rotated with a brand new tire for FREE! And it was fairly fast too! Just one hour of our Saturday at Costco!
It was a no school day and the kids wanted to go row boat with their cousins. Well when we got there, the wind was too high and they closed the boat rental. So we went hiking instead and then the kids played at the park. Later they all came to our house for movies and dinner. It was great!
FF is moving up to a bigger bike! I took her out using SS's bike and she's getting the hang of it, just not used to using the hand brakes yet.
The beginning of a new Era. The start of SS and his braces. Several months ago mom noticed SS's teeth were not growing properly. He had an under bite where his lower jaw teeth were growing outward and upper teeth were growing inward. So mom went to many places to see where is a good orthodontist. She found Dr. Tran. After several times of sticking little spacers, Dr. Tran put in the expander. Poor SS he's not used to it and can't eat any hard foods and constantly fight to keep food out of the little crevices. The first night was so bad that I had to give him Motrin to help him sleep.
