Clayton's recital, accompanied by Brennan

Spring Solo recital is here. This semester Clayton played Minuet 2 by J.S. Bach, a song that Brennan played before for his piano exam. Therefore, Mama suggested Brennan should play for Clayton. Brennan agreed and so here they are performing together.

They have been practicing for few weeks. Mama is so proud that they performed perfectly without mistakes.

Brennan's band concert

Brennan has been learning Saxophone since last October. After giving up on piano, Mama didn't let him off music. He picked Saxophone and he has been learning for more than eight months now.

Mama found a band five minutes from home. Brennan joined their beginning band and then moved onto the Concert band after three month. Today was his second concert in the Kings Catheral Youth Band, but first time in concert band.

Grandma, grandpa, auntie Marilyn, cousin Emiilee and Christopher joined us.

Brennan arrived an hour early to rehearsal.

He did a great job at the beginning band, especially at the saxophone solo part.

As you can see, he is the smallest in there. We had a hard time finding him even when he stood up to bow.

He loves his band night which had been 2 1/2 hr long every Tue last couple months.

Grandpa and grandma are so proud of him.

Tulips

Late last summer Abbey bought some tulip bulbs so we can plant them and see them grown.

Here are photos from last year of the hard work....

And you see they're coming out. When I walked in the house and told everyone they're coming out, the kids dropped doing their hw and ran out to see the bulbs coming out. And didn't go back to doing their hw.
