Many things happened in August, it was a super busy month of vacation and preparing Clayton to get ready for BYU. So these are some of the things that are small but meaningful events that are put together without their own posts.
Da's high school best friend Antonio needed some help moving and so SS and CC were mostly free during the summer. They helped him moved the whole day. SS sat inside the Uhaul van, then he get to drive Antonio's car, also Antonio treated them to a really yummy lunch at Olive Garden.
FF and mom went to a convention where FF is preparing her Girls scout Gold Award project. This convention will help her gather ideas and connect with the people to help her achieve that.
Da taking the the boys to bring Sacrament to Chen mama.
Chen mama's first time going back to church since covid started. It was a surreal moment when Chen mama said YES to go to church. Ever since Covid ended and church resumed back to normal meeting times, Da has been trying constantly asking her to attend church in person. She said she's too old, too tired, and many other reasons. However, Da's persistence triumph when one day Chen mama said she would go. Da seized the opportunity, took his van and drove Chen mama to church. She was sooo happy and so many members were ecstatic to see her again.
Below is Clayton's artwork that he did for his senior class in high school. For a very long time, many weeks, it sat at home after he was done with them in HS. So Da took them to work and displayed in his office walls. Then during Montgomery County fair, literally the last day, he wanted to submit them for the fair to see if he can win any prizes. Da spoke with a coworker who also runs part of the fair, and was able to submit the art work the very last day. Clayton received First Prize on all the art pieces he submitted. And because we were in UK when the fair ended, Da's coworker helped picked them up and bring back to work. Many of Da's coworkers saw the art pieces and admire SS's impressive skills.

These are the drawings Da brought to his office to hang
FF will continue the club that SS founded, Experimental Engineering Club EEC in high school. This year FF will be co-president of the club. FF didn't know much about how to update the flyer for the new school year, so she asked Da to create a new one. We were in UK at the time and it took Da a lot longer to make a new one but many people like the new flyer.
