I always joke that I am not moving to a single house until my kids can do all the housework for me. That's why we are still in a townhouse. Here is Brennan in training today and before the Chinese New Year cleaning.

Hello everyone meet Mr. Snowman. It took Da about 2 hours to pack him together (He's made of snow, assorted color MegaBlocks, scarf, hat, sticks, and ant repellents). This is the first nice snow storm of the year with really nice snow.

Abbey took Clayton out to take pictures with Mr. Snowman and.........

.....Brennan is looking from inside to see what is this new thing in front of our house. It's Mr. Snowman!!

Family picture time with Mr. Snowman!! He looks great!

For our FHE tonight, we taught Brennan a simple meaning of Chinese New Year. The meaning of Red Envelopes, the songs, the Lion Dances, the candies, and we made lanterns.

Brennan dressed up in a traditional Chinese shirt carrying lanterns around town. Beware of the person in the back, as you will see the following pictures.

Once Clayton got a hold of one lantern, instantaneously it's ripped!

And then eaten within blink of an eye.

Brennan wants to let everyone know how he felt from all those who didn't give him a Red Envelope

Brennan wants to thank all those who did give him a Red Envelope
(Kung Hei Fat CHOI- read my lips) Thank you very much for the Red Envelopes!

He's quite please with all those who love him.

Clayton, though he can't walk yet, shows how he feels for all those who didn't give him a Red Envelope.

He looks like a baby Bruce Lee..hehehe

This picture is just too good not to post. (I also think that Brennan is playing smart not to get Clayton mad)

Testing the camera. Here we go.........

This is what Brennan did to get Clayton's attention. During Christmas, Abbey gave Da a remote control for his camera. Since Brennan is not allowed to touch Da's big toy, he is only allowed to use the remote. To entice Clayton to look at the camera for a photo shoot, Brennan would hold the remote on his right hand and he uses his left to hold Clayton's toy to get his attention for the shot. The results are below.

First show love.

Then catch Clayton reading his favorite book.

Clayton has memorized the book so well , he now can retell the story by heart.

And he gets a great giggle from his own stories.

When it gets too boring, Brennan can push Clayton around! yeah!

Clayton can be pooped for sitting on the cart too long.

They look great together! Just like brothers...hopefully it will continue for a very long time.

That's the way to break into the clothes..by drooling all over it.

Envelopes!! Clayton is at awe!

Abbey prepares the boys for picture time. They just look handsome!

Friends and missionaries at our house for Chinese New Year's eve dinner. It was great! We loved it!

If you are not a cook, ask Abbey. She can cook up some delicious Chinese food at home. She's got all the skill, spices, and the knife too!

Ever seen a chicken with head on? The chicken meat tastes way better than those chicken without the head. Plus its a Chinese tradition to cook the first chicken with the head.

Ever heard of chestnust cake? Try it? Abbey's favorite. It's actually a belated Valentine's Day from Da. He was going to get it for her on VDay but the store was closed.

As Abbey tells everyone, Clayton has learned to adapt very well. He can pretty much sleep anywhere. I guess the lack of attention we give him or that he's just too tired, he'll just sleep once he's tired.

He seems like to like this little book. It has lights, songs, and pages for him to drool on. He can spend lots of time here.

Just adorable smile. He's getting more and more interactive. Its great to see him smile.

But of course, mama's little boy.
He has a evil grin to him doesn't he?

The snow was no fun. Instead of nice fluffy snow, we had sleet that pour throughout the night and froze everything. Regardless, we still went out and had fun.

The day started with much snow and sleet, as it progressed into the night there was enough snow to play! First opportunity Da got, he took Brennan outside at night to play in the snow. When Brennan came home, he cheeks were cherry red..what a handsome young man. BTW, don't worry about the bandage on his forehead.

As you can see our Family Home Evening was supposed to be about families and relatives. Da was planning to make it a little more elaborate with cutting the faces and pasting into a family tree-like shape, but apparently Brennan and Clayton had different plans. One would use his feet to shuffle all the pictures while the other would grab, crumble, and drool at the pictures. It was quite difficult to get the both of them to cooperate. So Da just end up showing the pictures instead of cutting and pasting into the tree.
