We were invited to Liz's house to play in Rockville. Mama is so proud that she actually drove there with no problem.

Yael is helping Brennan driving the Police Car.

Sharing the table, good job Woody and Brennan.

Cooking is FUN, Yael and Brennan had a great time cooking out.

Newly Furnished Basement is sooooooooo nice. Moms and kids all had fun.

of course, train table is always the big HIT!

Please don't ask me what they are doing in there. It seems they had fun hiding and playing in there.=)

Brennan received Thomas The Train Figure-8 starter set for his birthday. By Christmas, we bought him an expansion set with an addition 70 pieces. That open a whole new area for play, actually it took most of the living room floor. By the look of Brennan, he looked pretty bored playing the train set by himself.

So Da came in the picture and started to play train chase, that made it more fun!

Since Abbey's busy taking care of Clayton, we had fun. Abbey and Da also started a competition with each other to see who can have the best looking train set. The challenge is on and periodically you will see and compare the two different tastes we both have to build our railroads.

Once Brennan learned how to fly a plane, he started throwing at mom. He just barely missed her.

But of course, mom don't take that, she shot it right back at him.

Then it's dad turn, right into the camera! Good thing its the camera and not Da's eye, otherwise his eye will be smaller than it already is.

And interestingly enough, he learned to fly the plane with his left hand all by himself.

What a piece of paper can do with a 2.5 year old son: have an hour of fun. For our FHE games, Da folded an airplane and it only took Brennan 10 seconds to learn how to hold it and off he went!

Rarely do we see too many pictures of Clayton in his buff, so here are the public pictures of him flexing his muscles. Oh btw, if you or your daughter is thinking of dating this handsome fellow, you must take a number and wait in line. So far he's booked until 2023 August. Hahaha

Hot pot gatherings, ahh its almost non-Hong Kongness if you don't have at least one hot pot gathering once a year. The weird thing is that hot pot does not really taste good if there aren't alot of people around. So, the larger the crowd, the tastier the food ;)
(One hint: when having hot pot with many people use a really good portable stove)

Clayton always had a hard time sleeping no matter what we try to do to make him sleep more. I guess after many months of trying and trying, he still moves around his crib to find the most comfortable position for good Zzzs. Well, this was one interesting position he did all by himself, covering his eyes with the bed skirt so he can sleep well. And yes, we keep an out to make sure he has enough air to breathe.

FHE

To start off the new year, we finally managed to start our FHE (Family Home Evening). We feel it's time to do this since Brennan is getting the concept of many things. So why not get the hang of Monday nights at home. For this particular Monday night after our lesson, the activity was to make snowflakes since this year we really have no snow and stick them to the window. And yes, Abbey make the one on the bottom and Da made the one on top. The whole time Brennan was really enjoying it.

While Brennan has all the fun, Clayton is catching real fast. Today he just got on the bouncing saucer. It seems to entertain him quite a bit. Hopefully it will do it's job for the next several months.

Brennan is stretching before getting into serious bowling

Carefully selecting the perfect ball

Proud to carry my own ball

All the way to the alley

Brennan and his playgroup bowling with other moms and dads. Abbey shows Brennan how to use the rails.

At times it makes you wonder who is more into the sports: the kids or the moms? This picture need not to explain that what happens when Brennan actually got a spare all by himself.

Shoot if mom is having all the fun, I might as well claim victory!

That's it baby; it's good! ( Thank you for the clap)

After the game, Brennan's all pooped out..just resting on the alley. He looks pretty handsome with his matching bowling shoes.

Mom and Brennan having fun at Bowl America.

The whole group of MOMs Club in the area. The dads were off thanks to Dr. Martin Luther King JR.
