So on Tuesday Da took a day off to excursion with Brennan and the family. First Brennan's pre-school had a field trip to find bugs. It was a great day to get to know nature. Fun fun fun.

The instructor is showing books of what types of bugs and insects are in the park and how they play a part in our eco-system.

Just typical park bugs..but it was fun.

Blackhills Park is great with kids to play and run around and see nature. Great view.

And now onto the fun things!!!..

Brennan and Clayton always talk about riding in the train b/c they have a wooden train set and always see the trains going to grandpa's house. So we took this day to go to DC with them in the train. We purposedly sat in the front seat to get a nice view. You can tell someone likes it.

Crazy mom....but Brennan is all into seeing the train

We went to the Smithsonian and there was a live bug exhibit. The boys got to see a live cricket..a pretty big one too.

Mom wouldn't hold the hissing cockroach..so it will have to do. And there were other bugs/worms too that mom wouldn't hold and the boys ran out of patience.

That spider is the size of Clayton's head..nice.

A little rest maybe? or just Clayton having fun?

A giraffe !! yeah....

Onto the butterfly live exhibit. There lots of live and very beautiful butterflies everywhere for the boys to see (but no touching) It was great.

Hm...no touching..oh well..hehehe

Afterwards we had a picnic at The Mall. Just beautiful. We also had company to have lunch with us too. Mr.Squirrel was brave enough to get food straight from Brennan's hand. It was pretty cool.

And we end the day with kite flying-though there was no wind, bubble blowing down on the mall and the grand finale of both brothers getting (by force, not photoshop) to have this picture. It think its great!

We wen to Rio at Gaithersburg. It was the first nice day and we took advantage of it. It was great, we had fun and at Panera Bread. The line was very very long so while mom waited, we had some fun with the camera to kill time and what came out was priceless. I won't comment on the rest of this post because it speaks louder than words can describe.

Clayton loving his new foam sandals. I love the way he run/walk.

Today we went to the the Gas & Steam Engine Show at the Agricultural History Farm Park. It was a lot of fun! The boys get to see many of the small engines that was made over 100 years ago and they are still functioning. They get to get to see up close of how the small engines and parts move and powered by steam, coal, gas, etc...and a hayride too! It was just a beautiful day to go out and enjoy these types of events.

A working steam engine.

Cool kids rides! They boys had a lot of fun!

Is he enjoying this or what?

Getting into the fun already!

Just be careful when Brennan uses a Bulldozer.

I purposedly did not post the photo after this one...lets just say Brennan is pretty strong.

See no injuries..just lots of fun!

We should get Clayton's smile Trademarked.

This is cool and all these machines are crank powered. No batteries needed.

If you look closely..the tractor is actually move and he is actually driving the tractor.

He was a real pro at this.

Mama came to the rescue.

Serious concentration

And he got it in!

Okay it's Clayton's turn.

I do it my way...the 100% way.

*Note: While the kids were sitting on the tractors, none of the tractors were turned on nor did they drive/move with the tractors. It would have been nice if that was possible.
