For years Abbey has been wanting a a bigger kitchen sink and new kitchen counter. It took us a very long time to decide when to get a new kitchen counter. Then one day Abbey finally chatted with her friend Mandy Rehm about a whole seller that has very good prices on kitchen counters. Abbey then went to Costco to buy the sink. The company picked up the sink, measured and cut the new counter top to match the size of the sink. Before the company come to install the countertop, Da unhooked all the water pipes. It took the installers a couple hours to remove and install the new counter top.
Then Abbey was calling around to the cost of redoing the pipes for the new sink, after getting some quotes, Da decided he can reattach the water pipes too.
For the backsplash, we went to Floor & Decor, Home Depot, and Lowes to finally find the color/pattern we agree. Then Da was able to borrow all the needed tools to cut the tiles, space then, and the kids helped out too. It took about 3 long nights working until 1-2am to finish up the backsplash. It was part of Abbey's birthday present.
