Boring and awesome at the same time. It was boring because we had to stay in our chairs the whole time and the awesome part about today is that we go to switch to business class from economy class. We also got to dress up Kimonos for free - Cayleigh
After we left Dad, we went through security (it took like 3 hours) and then waited for in the lobby. It was still some time before our flight, so we bought some Wendy's and played some Monopoly Deal. We played a few rounds until CC finally joined in. On the LONG plane ride, I watched almost every single part of the kids' part of the TV channels. Mom even let me watch a PG 13 film: Pacific Rim, Uprising 2. After that flight, we were literally pooped. While we waited for the next flight, mom got some photos of herself in a Japanese Kimonos. We then discovered that we were in for a treat; the economy section was filled, so we got to be in business class! There was SO MUCH SPACE! I don't really know what happened in that 4 hours, since I slept through ALL of it. When we finally landed, we went through custom, and found Grandma and Grandpa, ate dinner, facetimed Dad, and went to sleep (after arranging bed positions). - Clayton
After an hour trip to the airport, Dad dropped us off at about 10:05 at Dulles Airport. It took about 30min to get through custom. Our flight to Narita/Tokyo boarded at 12:10. To pass time, we played different games and had some lunch food from Wendy's. once on the plane, we enjoyed /suffered a 14 hours flight, which included two meals and multiple drink refill. After staggering off the plane in Tokyo at 3:30, we took another 30mins through custom and waited till 6:10 to board. As we waited, we got called to the front desk and fearing they had canceled our flight, it turned out that we had actually been upgraded to business class! The four-hour flight was extremely comfortable, and we all were able to get at least two hours of sleep. -Brennan
