Archive for March 2024

There are a lot of little things and events that happened in March that didn't go with other posts.

Abbey made this dinner for Elder Luo on his last days as missionary.

FF was so into the show, she didn't realized she was putting a chair on her head.

The kids still like to come to our bed and snuggle.

For many months grandma has been trying to get the kids to eat at Panera breakfast with her. The food is yummy and the kids liked it.

Walmart candy run and Costco ice cream run.

For Elder Luo, got them a bunch of Burger King whoppers.
And Sister Allison Morgan taking the kids to school after teaching seminary.

The kids went to watch Dune 2 with their friends after eating McDonalds.

Once in a while, we'll capture CC video chatting with us on Discord. We still chat with him every Sunday evening to share our events for the week.

Below is the annual first day of Spring to get free DairyQueen ice cream and Rita Ice.

For the first part of this year's spring break, we didn't do anything since mom has to work and dad didn't take any days off. But since SS can drive now, he drove FF to some of the Seneca Youth's home and played games! Then he also went to the Dollar Store to see his friend named Prince.

Mom went to Sara Huang's bday party. She really enjoyed the company. Also as of 3/31/24 mom was released as Relief Society President  after six years and Sara Huang has accepted the calling to replace her.

We as family went outlet shopping and SS found a really good deal for a new pair of shoes. He even paid for it himself. Then ate noodles for dinner.

During Spring break, Catherine came over to our house and we taught her how to ride a bike! It was rough in the beginning but she quickly picked it up.

Since Abbey went back to work full time and Da didn't have many days off, we didn't do much with the kids during their Spring break. One of SS request was to go somewhere we haven't been and experience something new.

So Abbey finally took off work early on Saturday and we drove 3 hours to West Virginia's Blackwater Falls State Park that her co-worker recommend. Though we arrived around almost 4pm, we were still have to see some wonderful scenery. Da packed the bikes in hopes that we can bike there but we experienced some incredible weather. As if the Gods were fulfilling SS's request to experience something new: we hiked in muddy terrain they weren't prepared for, they get to be at the edge of  mountain cliff overlook, we got hailed on while walking to the waterfall. After some hiking and getting rained and hailed on, we enjoyed a delicious dinner and SS drove the whole way home at night.

All in all, this half day trip we experienced many incredible things!
