While Abbey's taking care of her mom in HK, Da and FF have been trying to manage to keep a relatively normal schedule going...

Da tries to keep FF's schedule normal taking her to many activities, events, and learning to drive.

First thing we noticed is the lack of yummy home cooked meals. So FF is taking over and try to cook home meals. Da is impressed.
She attends ward events and gatherings with other youth.
Also many families have made food for us including Sis Chen, Anderson family, and so forth.
Da continues to help FF sell Girl Scout cookies. And while mom's not home, we both try to do homework/study together.

FF invited school friends Bonnie and Kara over for study, painting nails and then later invited the Seneca girls over for karaoke!

We'll spend time to watch sports or play sports. Such as watching Emma Allen play school basketball or play tennis with Beth and Emma Evans.

Meanwhile, Brennan at BYU is finally getting some nice decent snow.

Also, Elder Zhao is running into all kinds of family friends we know!

Running into Bro Derek Au and 駱姊妹 living in the same apartment building as Elder Zhao
For Chinese New Year, instead of having my parents cook a big feast, this year we decided to go eat at a buffett!

Below is a video Elder Zhao recorded for our stake youth for their missionary activity, where the stake presidency invite all missionaries that are from our stake to zoom in and give a few remarks to the youth of our stake. But because of a 14 hour difference, it would be too late for Elder Zhao.

This year has been one of the most spectacular Lion Dance we've had! It was entirely performance by our Branch Youth! FF spearheaded this performance and gathering the youth. So after many weeks of hourly planning, practice, fine tuning, and adjustments, the final performance on 2/28 was amazing! I am so proud of our branch youth and their incredible skills!
