April was a fast month. Though many events happened, it just felt long.
So while Abbey was still not home for the first couple weeks, FF continued to cook food at home.
While we invited the youth to come watch General Conference and have BBQ, the weather almost didn't cooperate. It rained in the morning. In order to 'preserve' the deck to stay dry, Da threw tarps to cover as much walking/sitting areas as possible. Thankfully the rain subsided about 30 mins before Gen Conf ended, he was able to lift the tarps, dry the deck and had a nice bbq for the youth.
Spring is here and the weather has been really nice, so Da and Max went biking to their favorite trail behind Black Hills park. Reminisce about a lot of good memories!
It was a semi-nice day, so Da took FF to walk outside. She was hesitant but still did it anyways.
Da has been wanting to do this for a very long time. He finally bought some outdoor lights to put under the deck rails. It came out really nice.
We even get to babysit Jasper during this time. :)
The biggest event was Abbey coming back home. (For future readers) During this time of the year, the US and Iran are in a war and the price of oil was starting to rise really quickly. As soon as we heard this and that Abbey's mom felt better, she bought plane tickets to come back. Right after Abbey bought the tickets, the following the plane tickets doubled!
Since Abbey came home, we invited Liu and Wei families over for BBQ. They still loved the burgers.
CC also came home from BYU for the Summer. It's quite nice to have everyone home (except Elder Zhao still on his mission)
It has been many many years but we finally get to catch up with Gloria Azucena and her new baby Kirin!! We went to Betty's house to celebrate her 70th birthday!
