OK. I am officially old. Thin receding hair, blurry vision, slurred speeches, slow reaction, stiff bones, and now Brennan starts Elementary School today. In one sense its a great relief for Abbey in another sense that I am officially a school age parent. In a moment of reflection, there's the nervousness of how well my child will do in school, if he's listening to the teachers, eating right, enjoying it, meet new friends, or if he's overwhelmed. Oh well ,he's a big boy now he'll learn to adapt.
Anyways. Brennan's really excited to go to school. He's used to Pre-K but that's only about a few dozen students compared to several hundred students.

Mom's done all her preparation last night with stuffing his book bag full of class materials and lunch as if he'll be gone for months. That thing must weigh like 20 lbs, man that will stunt his growth.

Here comes the bus.

The bus driver assistant seems like one of those child abductors. But we trust him, right?

You think he miss us? or we miss him more?

Me: father the stalker and made sure he got to school and no place else.

First day at school: Kodak moment: confusing as anything.

Do you see where the lost freshman is?

Great! The safety patrol is already on his case.

Lost student being assisted by faculty to his room.

Settling down and finding his desk.

OK. He's good to go.

Got to go, class starts and teacher is ready to roll!!
