Our annual Christmas day and family gathering. We told the kids they won't get much for Christmas this year since we will only buy them three one big gift, which is the 1,000 piece Kapla wood set. Its expensive but that's what they wanted. From the photos below, they seemed to really loved it. Our cousins gathered in the afternoon to catch up and mingle. It was great!

Previous years we've done a family All America meal that has mash potatoes, ham, and rolls but this year we've decided to bake cookies and go caroling to families instead. Weeks before we asked Brennan and Clayton to play instruments but they say that it might be too cold or wet and don't want to ruin them. Then we just ask them to sing and CC was reluctant saying he doesn't want to. As time gets closer, we asked all the kids to bake cookies and we'll bring them to a few families. So they start making the cookies from scratch. Then we finally persuaded them to sing a couple Christmas songs and only a couple families. As we started, the kids got in the Christmas Spirit and we end up going to 13 families all around town. Three and half  hours later, the kids were exhausted but were really happy that they went and sang for the families.
