December has been a month of double OT. Can't believe how busy we are, all this in preparation for Christmas activities/events. However one must find comfort in all things; and for us, food is something we can all relax and feast upon.
Brennan has been doing a lot with his Saxophone and putting it to good use. He's 'jamming' it up and practicing with Ken for the Branch Christmas party performance. I'm surprised that during all the practice sessions, he spoke all in Chinese since Ken can't speak English. Yet Ken understand him perfectly fine, although most of the jargon is music related. But I guess both of them can speak that language mutually.
Brennan's been practicing really hard for the King's Cathedral Band to be with the Wind Ensemble group which are all High School students. He's the smallest and shortest in the group. (See below) So one day after practicing, there was a flat tire on a van. None of the boys know how to do and surprisingly Brennan remembered what Da taught him how to change out a flat tire and he was able to show the rest of the boys how to do it.
He forgot his towel as the performance was starting. Luckily his director has a spare.

Then he also performed for Li Fang Tsai's youth music recital at a senior home, eventhough she doesn't teach him.
Abbey's first performance in a long time...a little rusty but not too shabby.
We were literally rushing from one place to another that we had to drive two cars to this recital and forgot to dress the kids properly for the recital. Ooops.
Then Clayton has a school chorus concert at school.

He loves to play with fire. He actually can start up the flint ! (below)
And we can't forget FF. She maybe too young to do things her brothers do but she does love to climb on Da and lately have a fancy to pluck out his white hair.
