2024-08 Spain-UK trip Day 1
What a wonderful to see their maternal grandma! We are headed to Barcelona Spain and London England for two weeks! The kids are very excited to see grandma and their cousins again. Since the kids are older now, its much easier for them to pack and carry their own luggage.

Phoenix tagged along the ride since Yuan drove our van to drop us off.
While we were traveling around the airport to the gates, Brennan wore his red shirt and blended in with another group of students.
We flew British Airways again to connect at London Heathrow then to Barcelona
We waited over 5 hours at Heathrow to connect to Barcelona. It was not the most fun part of the journey.
After we arrived in Barcelona, we took the train from the airport to the AirBnB. We didn't have any international phone card so Da downloaded the train and street maps of the city so we can use to navigate and get to the hotel. It worked! We actually didn't get lost and arrived safely to meet Abbey's brother's family and mom.
But of course, after we got off the airplane and train, we were starving, not know what to eat and McDonalds was right at the train station exit, that was our first meal in Barcelona. Actually their food is much better than American McDonald's, plus they have potato wedges and chicken wings! -delicious!
