This year Abbey has been working very hard during tax season. She was able to take three days off and took the kiddos to PA. Brennan will turn 12 in June. Mama decided to go to the Priesthood Restoration Site in PA and learned more about the restoration of priesthood.

It took us almost five hours to get to the site. It was cold and raining, but we did have a great time there and felt the spirit so strong there.

The sister missionaries showed us where all the important event took place.

Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery received Aaronic Priesthood from John the Baptist.

Peter, James, and John confirmed Melchizedek priesthood onto Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery.

Issac Hale's House tour...

The little red house where Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery translated the Book of Mormon.

We hiked to the place where Joseph and Oliver baptized each other in the Susquehanna River.

Kiddos enjoyed dinner at Olive Garden after a long day.

HoiMan and John stopped by to visit us for a  couple days while they were visiting John's family was a great treat for us. Apparently, according to HoiMan's photographic memory, the last time we gather was in 2012 January during the big snow storm and we were all at Jeremy Yau's home in Brooklyn NY. That was when they only had one child and our kids were still very little.

Anyways, we had a great time together. They stayed with us after they visited the DC Smithsonian and Lincoln memories with John's family. The two nights they stayed with us, each night we talked and talked until 2am before we went to bed. During all that talk we ate a whole lot of junk food that otherwise we can't splurge on while the kids are awake. The next morning we couldn't get up but only to be awakened by our children. I made my usual pancakes and crepes for them to eat. To my surprise, their oldest on, Dayton loved my pancakes! In fact, the next morning I made a special batch for him. He ate four small ones and three large ones in one sitting! pretty much half of the batch! I am happy that someone loves my pancakes!

So we went to YumCha, then to Brookside Gardens in Wheaton MD to see the flowers and then to ride the train. It was a great time! A lot of catching up and made a lot of memories too!

The kids went to the park and played woodchips down the slide

We as adults would talk until 2am catching up on the good old days..and eat yummy midnight snacks

At the request of their son, Dayton, he loves my pancakes that I made one batch just for him and he ate half of it by himself.

Dayton borrowed Clayton's bike and he seemed to have a great time.

Yumcha!

Then we went to Brookside Gardens to walk around and enjoy the park. The kids has fun seeing many new and fun things.

There were toads everywhere, they must be mating. They were making a lot of sounds and were very loud too.

Clayton using the Canon Elph Powershot 100 HS to take photos of EVERYTHING.

Inside the garden, these plants were too good to pass without taking photos of them...in fact we had family photos from it.

Dad was unable to control Darius, so FongFong stepped in a help out.

There were alot of tadpoles and turtles and geese in the park that the kids exploring quite a bit.

Of all places, Dayton found his name inside the men's bathroom! Very funny!

We took the train ride there as well. They had a lot of fun!

BFF!
