It was a no school day for the kids for Martin Luther King day. So we started with a wonderful egg omlete breakfast and then headed to do some community service!

The next day Brennan was at a scout activity so we took the two younger ones to see their grandparents. They were in the midst of making dumplings from scratch so the kids got involved learning how to  make the wrap and stuffing the dumpings! It was a great time they did it together!

Brennan's been going to Adventure for Science many years since he was seven or eight years old. As I took him all these years, I used to contribute by take photos of the events in the class. This year however the instructor asked me what I do and then we got into the subject of computers. Then he asked if I would mind teaching a class about computers. I was a little hesistant at first but then thought it would be good. I actually end up teaching two classes and the classes filled up so fast the other students were kicked out to other classes. At the end of the class, those students came to me to request for another session. It was great to see that these kids 10-14 year olds have never seen the inside of computers before. They were ecstatic taking the PC apart and every single one of the students took a computer component home...as a souvenir I guess.

This year we didn't go anywhere special and mainly stayed home. We did have some college kids come to our house for dinner. It's been a long since the kids have seen Jonathan Tsai and FF was teaching him how to solve one side of the rubiks cube.

Then we had hot pot..it was awesome!

Now the kids are old enough, they even joined us in the game of Taboo! It was crazy fun!

David is finally going to BYU-Provo. We had a farewell for him on New Year's Eve. He was very happy with it.

Then we had a youth activity where the kids and the youth had an ice skating activity. Seems like my kids are skating a little better than some of the youth.
