Today marks our 16th wedding anniversary and Abbey decides to do something different. She cooked up and incredible dinner with steak, her most favorite soup, and mash potatoes from raw potatoes. It was a marvelous dinner. Then immediately afterward we left the kids home by themselves to watch Star Wars Episode 4 at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.

This is the first time we left the kids to be home all by themselves without any adult supervision. Of course we verbally prepared them to behave themselves and no fighting and Brennan is in charge but he can't physically beat up any of his siblings. Da was surprised that Abbey would feel comfortable for them to be home alone.

Anyways,  throughout the entire show, the kids keep texting Abbey back and forth when she would be home, and that's only an hour after we left! The show turned out to be really nice. The live music made a huge difference accompanying the movie. We both thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Happy 16!
