So it took months of planning, mainly due to my (family)schedule, trying to fit a hiking trip with my cousins while my family is here. Usually I go hiking or biking with cousins( Nancy, Tony, Alvin, and Arnold) when my family is out of town in Hong Kong or somewhere. But this time they wanted to go hiking while my family is in town and I finally found a less busy Saturday to do so. (Even the week leading to this day, I found that there was more scheduling dates, but Abbey took care of them)
So instead of biking, Tony wanted to go hiking. He wanted to hike Big Schloss in Virginia in the Wolf Gap area which is about 2 1/2 hours away. We met at 8am and I drove everyone and we got there around 10:15. We hiked that 4 mile trail as well as one that is closeby, Tibbet Knob. It was super windy, probably a constant 30-40 mph winds, so when we go to the top, it was very difficult and felt dangerous to stand on top to take photos. Arnold and Tony were afraid even to get on the single rock to take photos. It took us about 6 hours to hike both trails totally just a little over eight miles.
After the hike, Nancy wanted to eat at Urban Hot Pot. It is an all you can eat buffet. The food was really yummy and good quality food. But it was too much to eat after a long hike.
The next couple nights Abbey said I was snoring very loud and all kinds of different leg muscles were very sore. lol
