Thanks to covid19, everywhere we go, we must put on a mask. But staying home with cabin fever is too much for the kids, so we bring them out to the parks and walk around, with cousins.

And since all the kids have virtual school now, Da is forces the kids to take walks around the neighborhood everyday for 30 mins. We have been doing this for about a month now and the kids can't complain since Da will turn off their internet access.

Mom took FF shopping since she's growing up so fast. She can't fit into any of her clothes. So outlet shopping they went. She bought the clothes she wanted and needed and she was proud to wear them throughout the day.

As the season is changing, Autumn is one of the most beautiful time of the year. The foliage just makes it very enticing to go outside and enjoy nature. Now that the kids stay home a majority of the day due to the coronavirus, when we are free on the weekends, we take them hiking and enjoy nature to see the beautiful sceneries. So Da decided to take the family to hike at Seneca Ridge Trail. We've passed by the road many times but never hiked it, so we decided to hike it while ff was with her girl scout troop hiking another trail.

Been so busy lately, haven't had time to update our blog amongst other things. Finally get to upload some photos of our activities.

It was a beautiful warm day so we decided to take the grand parents to yum cha. It was the first time since the pandemic that we actually went out to eat in a public place. So took the opportunity with the grands for a photo op then headed to eat some dim sum. Inside the restaurant, normally it would so packed on a Saturday that we would have to wait in line for a table, thanks to Covid-19 there were only like 5-7 tables taken by patrons. So none of the usual carts they push, instead we checked off a list of items on a paper menu, and the food came out fast and steaming hot! It was actually great!

Then afterward, the church started a campaign to get people excited about the re-opening of the Washington DC temple. So they were scouting for families in the area to take some photos before the temple is opened to the general public. We took that opportunity to have a chance to get our preview of the newly renovated temple and have our photos taken.

Below are the photos taken by a local 'professional' and they were sent back to use a month later. I think mine turn out better taken with the iphone.
