2021-03 First hike for Spring

As the weather is warming up and Spring is approaching, we were itching to get out of the house. Our neighbor Jen and her son Max went hiking with us at one of the Locks along the C&O Canal. It was a beautiful day to go hiking. Then the next day FF and young women went hiking too. The following week we went hiking again, but on the hike we end with a nice treat to our favorite Continental Subs in Kensington.

2021 Boys Service Projects

Since Covid has shut down activities and our boys doesn't have many opportunities to get out of the house, the church leaders has setup places with people around town where our kids can get out of the house and do some service activities for them. Although the murmur before leaving the house to do these activities, they always feel good after going outside and exhaust themselves helping people.

2021 February March kids cooking

While still stuck at home during Covid and it's still cold outside, mom continues to teach the kids to cook at home. Now they are taking taking turns Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to cook. Sometimes mom helps out but as the kids get better and better at cook, they are cooking the entire meal all by themselves. And they turn out delicious!
