After a disappointing hike at Sugarloaf mountain a couple weeks earlier, we decided to hike one more time. It was a perfectly beautiful day hiking at Harper's Ferry. FF invited Catherine and we hiked for about 3.5-4 hours. We took our time to stop by the water and bathe in the sunshine, then hike up the hill all the way to the overlook. The leaves were turning yellow, orange, brown; it was like the perfect day to hike the trail. We finished the hike by going to Costco for ice cream (not pictured)
The last time our family went to Harper's Ferry was exactly 5 years ago in 2019-11-02.
