Brennan joined this soccer class near where Da works. Its great that Brennan's having fun while Da can watch him play during his lunch time.

Mom versus their kids...hm...who do you think will win and should win?

Celebrating his goal!

Hi-5 for that!

Since Clayton can't play, he might as well help out the coach.

and a little play time with Da too...

He enjoy this more than picking up balls.

Look at Brennan's foot work.

I think Clayton might be too young for a moustache.

Look at the hands for balance!!

I think we should put him MSL..hehehe like the 16 year old. (Maybe not)

In the meantime, Mr. Clayton is practicing his walk for the ladies. I think he's almost got it down. Mr. GQ !

Running for the goal!

Hi-5 to the coach!

Today was the last day for Brennan's soccer class. Everyone was to be dress in their favorite costume. I wasn't sure what Brennan was but regardless, each student received a UK Elite Soccer patch for their hard work on the field. I think he had a great time. Will see what happens next.

For a long time we haven't had fun on our Family Home Evenings. So for tonight, our theme was Lehi's dream. (For those that don't know what we mean, it's a story told from the Book of Mormon)

We start with Mr. Clayton helping mom out playing a musical hymn. Our favorite is "I am a Child of God"

Then we move to the lesson and the activity. Instead of the the Iron Rod, we substituted with rope around our house. The dark spacious area is when we turn off all the lights. The boys would have to hold on to the 'rod' from the entrance door all the way to the piano. You can't see the tree of life but it's a small Maglite with the light bulb shining like a candle. Our objective is to hold on the rope and go through obstacles and make it to the light. It was so fun the boys played again and again for four/five times.

Afterwards we went out to biking behind the school again. The boys got really interested with Ms. Ladybug. It was cool. (And look!! Da's head is getting shinier and shinier...soon he will have a bowling head)

Helmet looks good? Sharp looking boy!

Our boys went to Kara's house to have a bubbles party at their house with her boys. It was great to see them play together and blow blubbles. Thank you again Kara!

It's spring and it is time to grow veggies and do some yard work!!

Guess what Brennan is growing? Its funny that since the day he put the seeds in those little soil bags, he asks everyday when they are coming out.

A little water and a few tomato seeds and some TLC and soon we will have some great fruits!!

In the meantime, Mr. Clayton is working hard in the backyard shaping the beautiful landscape

Hm...mower got something in it? No problem Mr. Clayton will have it up in a jiffy. Nothing that he can't fix.

Even Mr. Brennan is helping out. Wow makes you wonder what the parents do..hehehe..chill out and have some nice cold drinks under the tree on the grass.

"Oh yeah no sweat at all. It's a piece of cake" ,

For the last year or so, the boys loves to cook pancakes every Saturday morning with Da before swimming. Since the boys wake up around 7am and Abbey wants to sleep in on Saturday mornings (who can blame her since it's the only day she can get to catch a little more Zzzzs), Da would take the boys downstairs to cook pancakes for everyone and mom too.

The boys actually help with mixing the ingredients too and sometimes some of the ingredients gets to land on the floor too. As you can see, they are stand on a step ladder far away from the pan (Brennan got burned before) watching for the bubbles so the pancakes can be turned.

But watching pancake bubbles only lasts for the first two rounds...since the kitchen is gated and its where we put the bikes...guess what else they have in mind?... Don't you just love their aprons that Abbey got for them?

The circus was in town last weekend and we went to see the show. It was pretty good. The boys enjoyed it a lot and had great fun!

Our cousins came along with us to see the Circus! It's great to see them holding hands to go see the show.

"Happy are we..."

Some of the cool shows performed at the circus!

And there were elephants that they can get close and see how huge these mammals are!

This past we didn't go anywhere or did much exciting things, hence not too many photos. But I do want tell everyone how appreciative I am of Abbey.

Interestingly enough I somehow got sick at work. Really really sick. On Tuesday we had an intern at work that was leaving and decided to buy pizza for everyone. What a novel idea! Everyone at work ate the pizza and was fine except for me. An hour later I was puking (I will spare you the details) and it happened two more times before the dreaded 5pm. Mind you that the week prior, for some odd reason this Spring season got the best of me with allergies. I got the super itchy eyes, runny nose like a river and the lovely cough. So the over-the-counter Benedryl didn't do it for me. I lost my appetite and didn't really each much for the last several days. Back to work, so super weak and just quite exhausted, I rested a bit and left around 5:45pm. Thinking I was going to make it home was a huge mistake. about 500 ft off work campus I was feeling it coming fairly quick...another 500 ft I pulled along the side of the road, opened the door and let nature run its course. A little relieved and still very queasy, I was determined to make it home. Next stop light, from the bounciness of the road and car....immediately pulled off the main road in front of some one's mailbox and viola! left another present. I was so glad that I have an aunt that lives nearby close to work. I went straight to her house (only a mile from work) and rushed to the john. She gave me some Chinese herbal medicine and ointment and I rested there. In the meantime my aunt called Abbey and informed her of what happened, she wanted to come over but its too far and late and too much of a hassle.

Finally I felt just good enough to make it home and made it home around 930p. By the time I got home, Abbey already made some Congee(pourage or rice soup)and got the Pepto Bismo and everything ready for me, she already took care of the boys and they were ready for bed and gave me hugs and kisses. I quickly gave them good night kisses and head for the john again. After the Peptos and some soft foods, I was a little better. I just layed in bed while Abbey finished cleaning the house and went to bed.

The next day I was a bit better and headed for work. Bad mistake, note to everyone not to eat/take milk products when you have a stomach reaction. So during work I figured I can eat light foods, so yogurt shouldn't hurt. Wow when 4:30p rolled around, I was not well. I left and headed home. Luckily I made it home and I was supposed to help watch the kids while Abbey cooked for the guests that were coming last night. I pulled up, walked in (very pale), dropped everything and went straight to the john. Literally after an hour of sitting and resting...nothing fruitioned. In the meantime Abbey's still cooking and now have to watch the boys. Luckily the guests were late and I didn't have to do too much companying them. In fact, I just sat on the sofa with a lot of discomfort. In the meantime, Abbey tended them and chatted with them and conversed with them and fed the boys while I pretty much sat, ate very little, and sat again. Once the guests left, I had another conversation with the john again. I was hoping something would happen where at least the poison would leave my stomach; nothing came out at neither ends. I was shivering and cold sweats..I just take had take six Peptos in the last 1.5 hrs and rested on my bed and Abbey read to the boys, said prayers with them and put them to bed, washed the dishes, and even cooked me more pourage all at the whole time I just vegetated on the bed.

So hence I appreciated her so much the last couple days doing so much while I did not do anything. And this morning she tells me that she is sore and a little weak from yesterday. I would understand. So I went to work late so I can dress Brennan, feed him and get him ready for school and took care of Clayton since I felt much better today. Abbey is a super mom and incredible wife. -just don't get her mad :D

*so most likely the cause of my sickness was food poisoning (thanks to Armand's heavy oily pizzas) and combined with my loss of appetite - light food diet from the allergies.
