The Zhao Family

The weather is changing and it's beautiful outside. We are taking advantage of this and enjoy the beauty of all the things around us.

The boys and I went overnight camping. Though it was cold, wet, and windy, we braved it and had a wonderful time!

This past Tuesday, 11/4/14, Wei and Eva invited our family and another family to go biking in their neighborhood in Va. It was a beautiful day and everyone had a great time biking the seven or so miles. Ff actually biked more than I expected but she and the rest of us were rewarded with a delicious BBQ lunch! And at nighttime, we were treated to pizza and Popeyes fried chicken. Abbey and I were so full from lunch, we barely ate dinner.

Trick or Treating in our neighborhood

The stash of loot they collected going around the neighborhood. This year since FF is older, we actually walked more to single houses which were giving more candy. We also helped a lost boy find the parents. SS and FF were real good cooperating with me to walk to find the parents.

Our typical days now consist of doing homework, practicing music instruments and where there spare times, reading a good book.

Since the boys are in Cub Scouts, they have Rain Gutter Regatta and so this year they have a sibling race too. FongFong got in the act with the help of Ethan!

Incredibly all three of our kids won a trophy in their own categories! And because we are lazy parents, we didn't even help them! Kudos to their hard work efforts! They are pretty awesome!

So school has started and we are getting back to the swing of things. Kids are really liking their teachers and enjoying school. FongFong is starting to do homework too. 

Clayton put Silly puddy on Cayleigh's hair......not really funny as they found out later.

We used alot of conditioner to take the puddy out of her hair.
