We have a really bad case of cabin fever and the boys just need to get out and kill some energy. Since they wont' a raffle last year to have free skiing lessons and skiing, why not go out and have some fun! Of course Da has duty to watch (take photos of) the boys have and this is what you get...

They boys getting their boots fitted by the people who works there

Brotherly love...

...except who's going to go first!

A quick five minute lesson on how to stop and turn, off they go up the lift with instructors!

After several lessons on going downhill...they boys are on their own!

After a few bumps here and there...the boys rested for some water and carbs.

They're ready and fearless! After two more lifts on the slowest lift, they moved up to the next slope and they love it!

They didn't even want to leave because they were having so much fun! they were zooming down the hill like pros!

Naturally the school system is closed so the kids stayed home with mom while Da went to work. The neighborhood roads were cleared and the big roads were plowed. It was a slow but easy drive for Da to get to work since the government was closed and so there was very little cars driving on the road. And as this always happens, when the kids have no school they are very helpful at home to cook very yummy foods while Da's working.

Abbey had this recipe from her friend for the longest time but never used it until today. The kids helped to make the entire Egg Tart from scratch from the crust to the filling. It turned out perfect and super delicious!

While the two were helping with the Egg Tart, Clayton's finishing up touches for his cusbscouts Pinewood Derby project.

All hard work was finally done and mom took the kids to go sledding since Da had to go help shovel a church member's driveway.

This is a first. We didn't know whether the kids like grapefruit or not..but they LOVE it! in fact we ate a whole 5 lb bag of them in two days!
