On Friday 6/17/16 was not the official last day of school but it will be for our kids. The official last day is on 6/20 due to the Winter snow days , the State added three more mandatory days to the school calendar. But because we already booked and paid for Summer camps starting on 6/20, they kids will be doing that instead.

Above is a photo taken on 8/31/15-the first day of school. And the photo below is taken on 6/17-the last unofficial day of school. They grew and mature quite a bit.

As part of the last days of school, FF and her class had a show and tell for everyone. Mom and FF decided to make waffles for the class. Usually Da cooks waffles for the family but FF will attempt to cook it for her class.

She made lots of waffles and even so that our neighborhood kids are jealous she made it for her class. They even asked for some since these kids aren't in her class.

Below are photos of the kids cooking for Da on father's day. While they let him take a 2.5 hours nap, they got busy preparing, chopping, and cooking dinner for Da.

FF is making Mango Pudding while CC is cleaning the shrimp for a dish.

While the pudding is in the fridge, FF went straight into peeling carrots while SS checks out the sharpness of the knife while he slices the king mushroom, one of Da's favorite.

The kids are incredible helpful and didn't fight at all while preparing the meal.

CC even read while the Salmon is getting cooked. The result was: perfection!

I couldn't have asked for a better meal! Even with SS's zigzag mushroom cutting skills! They even surprised me with a card they wrote!

And as a treat, we all biked to the pool after dinner! At first Abbey hesitated since she's not a good bike rider but she gave in after the kids reminded her it's father's day and that Da wants the entire family to bike to the pool. She was a good sport, so this is a very rare photo of us all biking to the pool.

It was a little rough for the girls to get the hang of it but they got it going and the boys already biked way ahead to the pool. The kids still love to play with Da at the pool playing horsey rides, getting thrown around, playing catch and underwater submarine (they would get on Da's back while he swims under water and they are above water riding his back)

Usually the kids aren't very cooperative to take family photos but they were very cooperative to have photos taken today. We actually had several retakes and they were still cooperative. That was really great! Da couldn't have ask for more than his incredible wife and kids!
