This year we went camping at Assateague Island State Park with Da's sister family. It was the first time his sister's family went there. We were visited by the wild horses many times, especially when we have food around. They are very smart horses! they would stick their head into our van and dig through the trash can and knock our cooler over to try to get food. We were able to enjoy the beach all to ourselves, they kids had an incredible time digging for mole crabs! they found tons of them! We even went crabbing! But because we didn't' have the proper gear, we were able to catch one little crab. One thing we weren't fully prepared was the torrential rain that our tents weren't meant for, so the first night the kids slept in the van while we used three tarps to cover ours. However the next couple days it was perfect and we dried up all the tents and cleaned them so we can sleep in them. Another thing that's not very welcomed are the mosquitos, soooo sooo many of them were attacking every single one of us. Other than that, we had a really great time!

So finally have some time to update our blog.
This year is a very very unusual school year. Since March the school system has had virtual learning due to Covid 19. Sadly SS and FF wasn't able to go to any graduation ceremony from middle or elementary school. They didn't say goodbyes to any of their friends. So during the entire Summer, they didn't see any of their friends. And now in September, they both started new schools; high school and middle school and didn't meet any new friends since it's all virtual school and they don't have that extra time to meet other students. CC is still in the same school, so he's fine.

But so with new school year, comes our tradition of inviting our neighborhood kids for breakfast! Da would go to work late so he can cook the entire breakfast meal for them to get them started with the new year! The kids love it!

After the kids 'gone to school' (virtual-in their rooms), the adults would finally get to sit down and enjoy the rest of the breakfast.

This is the 2020 school year of learning...
