Da's sis (Marilyn) or as the kids call her, guma, suggested to have an activity with grandma to make steam buns 馒头. All the kids participated and made some great buns. FF got very imaginative while the boys were throwing the dough at each other. It was a great activity.
With this Scout Troop, the scouts have many opportunities to serve in the neighborhood. This year, they coordinated with Manna Food Center to donate food for the needy. SS and Da went through our own neighborhood to put up stickers to collect food and then bring it to the collecting truck. SS also volunteered there for a couple hours to help load the truck bins of food from other donors.
