Below are the times when 2nd aunt called me on 4/17. She told me uncle Neng was admitted to St. Mary's hospital and need a translator. They gave the nurses and doctors my phone number to help with the translation. After initial translation, aunt went home to rest. The nurses and doctors called me every hour to every hour and a half of his status and they were doing to him.

At 2:30 AM (PST) was when the doctor called to give me the news the uncle Neng's large internal organ bursted and massively bleeding. His heart stopped working and they were trying everything to resuscitate him and I need to call his wife immediately. I call her 7 times before she answer and inform her of the news. It was one of the worse news I can tell someone.

The doctor proceeded to ask me to ask aunt whether to continue to resuscitate uncle or not. Aunt was sobbing loudly and of course want to keep resuscitating him.

While she was changing to leave the house, I ordered an Uber to pick her up so she can get to the hospital right away. The whole time I stayed on the phone with her until she goes into the room where uncle passed away. The loud sound of mercy cry was indescribable.

I called their daughter Marcia of the news many times and never got a hold of her. Then I called sent text messages, wechat messages, and call to all the relatives in SF tell of the news. Some of the relatives finally responded around 4:30AM (pst) and went to see aunt and uncle at the hospital. At that time, it was time for me to go to work on the East Coast.

I flew out to uncle Neng's funeral on 5/5. I took my mom with me. I went straight from work to the airport to catch a non-stop to SF. Helped with the apartment cleaning the entire Saturday and trashed over 600 lbs of unneeded stuff. Then Sunday was uncle Neng's funeral service. I help made a photo slideshow at his service.

After uncle Neng's funeral service, I met some of his nieces: Edna Hoo, May Tsang-Matoba, and Lisa Do. They also came to the US when they were very young and so their main language was English too, so we struck up some very great conversations at the dinner gathering and learned a lot from each other.
