Sometime during Clayton's college time, he started using BeReal, a photo-sharing app that lets users share one photo per day to show their followers what they are doing at that moment. The person takes one photo from the front camera and one photo from the back camera. It encouraging users to share unfiltered snapshots of their lives, and by only allowing one post per day.
So below are the captures of his BeReal captures from Sept 2024 until Jan 06, 2025.
Getting my endowment was a blessing from the beginning to the end. I always had the intention of receiving my endowment, but it was only about three weeks before my winter break when I decided I wanted to do it during the break, where I would be able to fully utilize the endowment to get experience in the temple before I left on my mission.
From the start, I wanted to go through the temple with mom and dad at the DC Temple. However, the process required two parts: interviews and a temple session. First, I was blessed to have my dad and Stake President Ure available to interview me within that short time period. Also, since the DC temple was extremely busy and I only had a short two weeks home during BYU's winter break, it was a blessing (and the fruit of mom's hard work) to find an open temple session at 8 AM on a Saturday.
When the day came, I am so glad that it all happened because the endowment was so worth it. I truly feel God's love for me and His plan for what I need to do in this life.
It was a cold windy Saturday morning 8am January 4, 2025, Clayton received his own endowment at the Washington DC Temple. It is a bitter sweet moment to see him choosing this path to be closer to Heavenly Father. Abbey and Da are proud parents that we've raised him to continue to follow this path. Though many many things are new and different inside the Temple are to be kept sacred, we hope he'll continue to go to the Temple often so he can realize the promises and potential therein.
Also it is very very important to mention that we are thankful for Brennan and Cayleigh willingness to wake up so early and waiting at the Temple entrance for over 3 hours so we can take a family photo in front of the Temple. Thank you both!!!
