The Zhao Family

 Juneau was one of the prettiest cities we visited in Alaska. It was a really quaint town. We even saw a lot of totem poles.

We rented a teal blue Jeep Wrangler and drove to Mendenhall Glacier Park. It was a beautiful park with a waterfall. We spent hours walking around the park and enjoying the scenery.

We also drove to NOAA Ted Stevens Marine Research Institute to see eagles and whales. We were able to spot some far away. With our binoculars, we were able to see their takes come up.

Being in the boat for the last five days, we were very tired of the food. We went to the world's smallest Costco, in Juneau and thoroughly enjoyed hot dogs and unlimited sodas. And course, Clayton manages to spill ketchup on his shirt. 

During dinner our waiter, Ferdinand entertained the kids at the end with doing some spoon tricks into the water glass. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment. 

Afterwards, the kids went to the hot tub and swam in the pool...for hours, even finished watching a movie in the gigantic screen.

 Day 5, we stopped at Skagway. The ship docked early the kids woke up but didn't' want to get out of bed, so Abbey and Da were able to get up and get on the treadmill for about an hour. After breakfast, we hopped into town. The town has a history as one of the first settling town in Alaska, but now has turned into a shopping town. We didn't stay in the town long since everything was catered to tourists. There wasn't much to see or do in the town, so we mostly went back to the ship.

Since the town was catered to people buying jewel, one of the things they did to lure customers was to give out free charms. So the kids too advantage of that and it became a game they went to as many stores as they see to get free charms
