This year has been incredible busy that we really didn't have much time to spare. In the years past, we used to be able to put up our Christmas tree in one day, however this year we had to use two separate days finish setting up our Christmas tree. On top of that, we didn't even have time to take family photos in front of it.

This is CC's first concert performance at his new high school. When we asked about the concert, he told us that it was really boring and we don't need to go. However what we found out is that it was a really nice concert and he had a solo part! Check out the second last video where he showed off his saxophone skills. They even played music to How to Train Your Dragon, which was really cool!
This year we have our fair share of car troubles. Back in July, our van had troubles where the shock cap almost came off and our good friend, the Nings, were able to rescue us and even let us borrow their car! https://zhaokids.blogspot.com/2018/07/2018-07-14-hot-air-balloon-festival.html
Then this past Saturday, our car died in the middle of the road,. Luckily it happened on a small road that there wasn't too many cars driving by and was able to pull to the side of the road, but if it happened in the highway, it would be a huge problem. Then one of the orchestra moms came to pick up SS to his performance at the elderly home while Da was able to call up a friend who is close by and came to the rescue. At first, we thought the transmission which would cost $3,000 to fix, however the mechanic said it was just a broken axle and was able to get it back on the road shortly after the he replaced the axle in one day.
