One of the reasons for our road trip was to visit our friends Elaine and Uncle Jo in Kentucky. We actually visited them back in November but because Abbey and kids miss them, we were welcomed back to their home. And indeed everyone had a great time together. Everyone learned something new: to make pineapple bun from scratch (thanks to youtube), to catch fish using a cast net, ff making her famous bday cake for Elaine's bday! It was really great to see them again for the five days.
