Lately the weather's so nice and cool and low humidity, we've been trying to get the kids to go outside more. So we walked to church for stake conference, take my parents to the park and walk, and even talk to close by Rita Ice to buy the kids a treat.
For Brennan's 18th Bday he kept it really low key, requesting to eat Sushi for lunch and HK style BBQ for dinner on our deck.
During Temple Open House 36 friends came to visit the DC Temple Open house and our house in one month's time. Grace & Dixon, Yeenor & Edwin, King family of 7, returned missionaries: 8, Hoiman and John Tang family: 4, ShanShan and Matt Ward family: 5, Natalie and Jack Shirts family: 8. It was so great to catch up with so many friends, eating good food, playing great games, and making more memories.
It is especially fun for Da who missed little kids so much. He got to play with Niko who Clayton claimed is the most chill baby that let everyone hold without fussing. Da made breakfast with many little kids who woke up early so the parents could sleep in in the dark guest room in the basement. We are grateful that we are slowly getting our life back and able to have parties again with friends.
