The Zhao Family

 Since Cindy and her mom, Li Hao, has been in the U.S. for many many years, we've never celebrated her birthday. In fact, we don't even know when's her birthday. Also, it is very difficult for Cindy to take a day off from work so when she called that she's taking half a day off to have a special birthday dinner party for her mom, we were very excited to attend! Li Hao was soooo happy to see so many people celebrate her 80th birthday!

An update to the post. After taking the group photo, Da sent it off to get a canvas print for her. She was very very happy with the canvas print as well as the regular 4x6 prints of her birthday celebration.

 For Da's father's birthday this year, we decided to gather at our house and eat Pho. This is the first family gathering where everyone ate together. Phoenix is older and is playing and enjoying family/cousin time. This is also the first time Brennan and Emilee was not with us, they are at college.

Troop 773 started their year with canoeing at Antietam Creek as their first camping trip. It was really fun and the scouts learned a lot. Also this year SS will be Senior Patrol Leader (SPL), so he'll be leading the meetings and planning the camping/activities for this coming year.
