Some of you may think that we are advertising Lychee snacks or what the heck are we doing to our son! (Please don't report us..hehehe) Actually Clayton often has a hard time sleeping because he feels insecure, we've try many methods or making him sleep better; by holding him, sleeping on his chest, etc...however we've found that by have the weight of about 1/3 the contents of the Lychees jar, its the perfect weight against his body to make him feel secure. And what is amazing is that he slept so well through the night with the jar on his chest, for six hours, that he scared Abbey to make her wake him up to feed him. So we've realized this method is very effective and has continued to work for us. Posted by Picasa

  1. What the heck!!! What a funny baby! Preston had a hard time sleeping too as a baby. We found he slept best in his car seat, so he slept in it until he was 5 months old!! (by then he could almost escape!) So strange.

Clayton and Brennan are so cute together! Definitely brothers.

Holy Cow! Isn't this child abuse?!! I mean he is getting tortured everyday by seeing on his chest something delicious, yet can't eat.

Also i think this is only a "quick fix" or "bandaid" solution .... i know Da wont be able to resist himself and eat the rest of those lychee snacks and so the jar wont weigh the same :P

    Mama,

I know exactly how you feel! Once Elias is asleep he is good for a while, but he just HATES being put to sleep even when he is super tired. So if he even a tiny tiny bit awake he'll get up immediately when being put down. We'll try the lychee trick! ~michelle
