So Da took a day off yesterday to take his mission companion to tour DC.

We took the train downtown since Brennan wants to go on the train ride. He's been playing with Thomas the train set a lot and seeing the Metro trains, I told him one day we will take the train. So it was a great opportunity for it and he was in awe and just look around the train, outside the train, talk with people in the train and was just amazed what it is to be like inside the train. He had been in trains before but I think as he's getting the concept of things, he's understanding them better.

First stop: International Spy Museum. No pictures of inside since cameras are not allowed which is kind of ironic since spies use multiple ways of getting access to information and yet regular people taking pictures of outdated/historic materials are not allowed. (Maybe I should bring a hidden camera in there next time and see if they can detect me)

Next stop: Washington National Mall. Brennan pointing to the Washington Monument.

My mission companion, David, had the greatest comment when we were taking him to the Mall. "I can visit all the museums and the Mall in a couple hours" Then I showed him the map and told him that from the Capitol building to the Lincoln Memorial is about half a mile long and only about a dozen museums to visit, so if he's done in a couple hours I am impressed. But when he step foot on the Mall he as surprised how big it is.

They were expanding/reconstructing a new section at the Air & Space. It's pretty cool.

Since Clayton still don't understand things yet, he's having more fun poking at David's eye.

Last Stop: After the Mall, the Dean family invited us for dinner. It was very yummy. We had a great time, except Brennan was waken up by mom from his nap so he's not too happy.

But soon after dinner's over we got in playing Stuart's XBox 360 and Brennan just had a blast. The day was just great and couldn't be any more fun!
