This year we decided to celebrate Christmas at our house for the first time. We have been opening gifts at my parents house for as long as I can remember but since we've all grown up and its too much work for my mom to setup the Christmas tree and decoration, we decided to host. It turned out great! All our family and relatives gathered and enjoyed and catch up with each others' lives.

We started the morning making pancakes and Cayleigh does not want to be left out, period.

My sister's family came over first to start off Christmas morning with pancakes, sausages, eggs, and chocolate milk.

My mom stopped by and enjoyed the presence of her grandchildren and opening all their gifts.

How they just hog onto their gifts.

The tall gifts in the middle are just for Cayleigh. Crazy huh.

I don't think that's how the castle and table was intended to be used.

The girls eating the sushi as they make them, so then what's left for the guys and kids? ...you figure it out.

And this is the best way to end a day's worth of hard work opening gifts.....(with her favorite blanket)
