This year Abbey had the chance to be the chaperone mom helping out going to Girl Scouts camping at Camp Brighton Woods. The girls had a lot of fun hunting bugs and playing games throughout the campsite. However Mother nature interfered with their campfire cooking since it was pouring rain so they went with Plan B and made quesadillas with the propane stove. The thunder was so loud they all ran screaming to the leaders. All of them are safe under the leaders' wings. As the thunder and rain subsided, they continue to discuss about first aid and make dinner after. We are grateful that Ms. Jenny managed to find enough wood and the rain stopped for us to have smore time. The girls love it.
Everyone enjoyed breakfast and helped washed dishes. They even cleaned the campground and bathrooms. Afterward they talk about what they enjoyed about this trip.
