This year has been a rough season for Abbey. She worked full time while still have some of her personal clients. While at work, this year the company had more clients and so they hired two more people. Though not part of her job description, she took two new hires under her wing and teach them taxes and accounting, since most of them don't have much background in accounting/tax experience. She also helped the admin sometimes. All this while she was trying to complete all taxes for her part of the clients.
During the heat of tax season, the morale in the office is stressful and low. So Abbey tried various things to uplift the office moral. She bought a bunch of Women's vitamins, Lifesaver Gummies, healthy dried fruits and nuts so when 'her girls' need an energy boost, they can go to the snack corner to get some energy booster. And daily she'll remind the girls to take their women's vitamins. Though the boss buy lunch on Wednesday and Friday, one day, FF made sushi for the office.
Another thing she did to help boost the morale in the office is have dress 'themes'. They would coordinate ahead for the color of the day, the school spirit, or casual Friday when they don't have clients coming to the office. Abbey also took a folding table and folding chair to have lunch outside in the back parking lot when the weather is really nice.
The girls loved her ideas to build up their morale to tough out the tax season.
