FF has been trying to get a job for some time now. She says she need a job to pay for her upcoming school Disney trip. Mom and dad paid for the trip and she wants to find a job to pay back.
So many years ago, Chick-fil-a (cfa) used to have Cow day every year. And when one dresses up as a cow, they receive a free sandwich. Since covid, they haven't had one for a very long time. So this year they seem to have brought it back.
On July 14th, as FF was preparing to go by cutting up felt and dressed up as a 'cow', Da says why not apply to Chick-fil-a. She says she doesn't want her friends to know here working there. Then dad's response was "why not! if your friends see you, you are working and making money, and they are not"
As we were talking into Chick-fil-a and getting in line to get food, she saw one of her friends and was super excited to see each other. After we ordered, we sat at the back corner of the dining area and she saw more of her friends working there! She was elated! They start telling her how great it is to work there and to apply. Then one of the friends actually took her and introduced her to the manager on duty.
