It's the middle of the winter and Da is wearing a tee shirt washing and waxing his car in 50F degree weather. Brennan was smarter in a coat. As you can see, Brennan enjoy doing boys stuff. And yes, there is stuff running out of Da's nose (Just realize it when going through the pictures)

FHE

To start off the new year, we finally managed to start our FHE (Family Home Evening). We feel it's time to do this since Brennan is getting the concept of many things. So why not get the hang of Monday nights at home. For this particular Monday night after our lesson, the activity was to make snowflakes since this year we really have no snow and stick them to the window. And yes, Abbey make the one on the bottom and Da made the one on top. The whole time Brennan was really enjoying it.

While Brennan has all the fun, Clayton is catching real fast. Today he just got on the bouncing saucer. It seems to entertain him quite a bit. Hopefully it will do it's job for the next several months.

Brennan is stretching before getting into serious bowling

Carefully selecting the perfect ball

Proud to carry my own ball

All the way to the alley

Brennan and his playgroup bowling with other moms and dads. Abbey shows Brennan how to use the rails.

At times it makes you wonder who is more into the sports: the kids or the moms? This picture need not to explain that what happens when Brennan actually got a spare all by himself.

Shoot if mom is having all the fun, I might as well claim victory!

That's it baby; it's good! ( Thank you for the clap)

After the game, Brennan's all pooped out..just resting on the alley. He looks pretty handsome with his matching bowling shoes.

Mom and Brennan having fun at Bowl America.

The whole group of MOMs Club in the area. The dads were off thanks to Dr. Martin Luther King JR.

Brennan is practicing basketball to go pro, but he needs to have his bodily fluids controlled and his dressing code touched up a bit. Nonetheless, as you can see in this picture, he can shoot with great form and even flipping his wrist. All the meanwhile, mom's in the background training Clayton to get to Brennan's skill level soon. I think once Clayton starts crawling and turning, then we should start to get serious on his training.

Looking at that pictures brings back memories of what life must been like when we were all young..nothing to worry about just all play and looking cute; now its all work and when there is play..it gets tiring real fast..hehe

Today, Saturday January 07, 2007 has got to be one of the most nicest days for winter. The weather reached well above 70 F degress ( the normal tempurature for this time of the year should be around the mid to low 20's F.) So we went to the park as normal people do. However do notice how Abbey's holding onto Clayton. I think she meant in every way try to be nice and cover Clayton's eyes..but apparently she cares more about looking good for the camera than covering Clayton..hehehe ( Sorry Clayton, mom's trying to look pretty)

I think Clayton is really scared but he has no choice..hahaha

The designer of this park was really smart to have a race car track with two car going around..Brennan definitely loved this part of the park..we spent literally 30 minutes spinning the wheel racing the cars, it was all worth it while Clayton cheered/drooled on.

Andersen is such an awesome baby..he was absolutely a joy to play with but it can only last a couple minutes holding him as he is quite big for his age. Andrew and Liew told me that they just nurse him like any other baby however they think its the Richmond water that makes the difference. (Makes you wonder what's in the Richmond water eh?)

New years eve! What did we do? Eat, Drink, and be happy! There was plenty of food and warmth in the house. We were treated like Kings and Queens when we stayed at the Tangs for a couple days. Thank you guys for the hospitality. BTW..all the comments made about Richmond and the pictures below were exaggerations of what didn't really happened. We had a great time

Of course..all great things happen in Richmond. (*This might be too graphic for your children.*) I rather not comment on this set of pictures but I think it deserves an explanation. You see the the first picture of the big great fist: beware and run! The next picture; if you can't run you will be victimized. Not only the the Fist of Fury have huge hands..he's got a helmet to go with it! Poor Clayton, the fellow can't even crawl yet let alone know what type of trouble he is about to get into. But then of course the last two pictures..the big guy plays innocent with his hands up in the air and blank face pretending to deny any wrong doing.

Still in Richmond Va...while the adults were blasting away the new year playing games..the poor kid was left alone by himself :( See how sad he is? even with a tear in his eye. Eventually he cried himself to sleep and Clayton can't take it anymore..so he fell asleep right on the table..and yet..the adults were still blasting away.

As stated previously, here are the results of what happened down in Richmond. Of course, since there isn't much to do in Richmond and its basically just catching up with each others' lives that eventually the talk will run dry. So to fill up the time, we played an older version of Guesstures, it's a really fun game especially with different people. In each picture there is something to be said, but I will leave that to the eye of the beholder.

So the mayhem of Christmas break was interestingly enough that it gets overwhelming and tiring. Da was fortunate to have a nice 4 day holiday over the New Years break. So the Zhao family decided to take a small get-out-of-town trip where we are not too far nor too close to home (basically away from the area) to one of Abbey's old schoolmate's home in Richmond Va to Andrew Tang's family. It was a nice 2.5 hours drive to their place. In the preceding pictures...the story will be untold of events that happened. (WARNING: Some images might be too graphic for small children)

This is what happens at Da's parent's house on Christmas day...This is only part of the whole picture and it only gets crazier as more relatives come and then wrapping paper is everywhere covering the small children.
