So this time going to San Fran, Da's parents were high tech. Both of them have smart phones surfing WeChat while waiting at the airport.
And you think kids have this problem...
Waiting at SF airport and finally reaching to 2nd Aunt's home.
My dad was showing off how to his older sister how to use the smartphone and things you can do on it.
Mom always fighting to pay for meals (yumcha in this case)
2nd Aunt's husband
These are gigantic lemons from DaCan's backyard.
My dad grabbed and cut open one of their Pomelos, his face was priceless!
The first night in SF was really cold, so the next day: shopping for warmer clothes!
2nd aunt took them to morning exercise/Taichi. We all went at 8am to exercise with the other older people at SF Washington Square Park. The morning air was pure, fresh, and with a very slight breeze: perfect for the morning. Dad was serious and jogged for 40-45 mins straight going around 8-10 circles around the park. Mom couldn't keep up so she cut corners and tried to catch up but in the end she slowed down and stretched with the other older women. We actually did that for couple morning and I was jogging with dad while mom was walking slowly.
2nd day...
He sweated so much you can see the beads of sweat on his scalp and hair roots
Above is how people dry their clothes in a four story building and if you look closely at top right, some even hand their fish to dry!!
Below is a whole pig cleaned and ready to be roasted! (Sneak peaked into a restaurant back door)
